Free Thursday Throwdown set with Elry Blue from 23:30 - 1:15

Each Thursday after 11pm, we’re switching it up at Nightjar. Firstly there will be a free, late set of live music from 11.30 pm. But, better than that, thanks to Don Julio, we’re going to drink like it’s 2010! Our special late-night menu is a nod to the days (and prices!) of when Nightjar first opened, fifteen years ago.

ELRY Blue are an energetic acoustic Duo made up of Noel Gander on Guitar Vocals Harmonica and Gary Choules Double Bass Brush Pad and Shi-Tam.

The Duo draw upon inspirations from the likes of Hank Williams, Big Bill Broonzy and Tom Waites, along with Bassists Larry Taylor and Ernie Newton.

The Band are garnering great interest on the national music scene and are gaining a healthy following wherever they play.

ELRY Blue take well-chosen covers along with a number of self-penned tunes to create a powerful driving blues/country rhythm whilst keeping in touch with the original soul of the music. Their aim is to Chill the Spirit and Rattle the Bones.
