Santiago de Cuba Presents An Evening of free live music with The Latin Formula.

The Latin Formula is a Fresh Project formed by experienced musicians from both Cuba and Venezuela who have performed internationally throughout their careers, including North America, Europe and Asia.

In their performances, you should expect to listen to Cuban Classics as played by Buenavista Social Club Cuban Orchestra, Benny More, Miguel Matamoros, and the Greatest Cuban Hits of all times, along with Original Cuban Arrangements of hits by Elvis Presley, Ray Charles, Bob Dylan and more.

This is a high-energy, audience-interactive Latin Dance Show which guarantees you an experience full of rhythm, fun and catchy vibes.

So what is Thursday Throwdown exactly? Each Thursday after 11pm, we're switching it up at Nightjar. Firstly there will be a free, late set of live music from 11.30pm. But, better than that, thanks to Don Julio, we're going to drink like it's 2010! Our special late-night menu is a nod to the days (and prices!) of when Nightjar first opened, fifteen years ago.

Matices Latinos acoustic quartet  is a contemporary  Latin outfit led by Colombian singer Luz Elena Caicedo, and musically directed by Venezuelan Master percussionist Wilmer Sifontes. Their border hopping style, and percussive approach to the Latin American song book, is an authentic experience full  of the colourful, passionate and joyful vibrancy of its many musical genres. Some of their performances include The Royal Albert Hall Café Consort, The National Theatre, St Ethelburga's, The Purcell Room, The Green Note in Camden, Nightjar, Oriole Bar, Crazy Coqs and private functions at City Hall.
