Davis Rogan's personality and stage presence are even bigger than his 6'4" frame. Rogan combines classic New Orleans rhythm and blues after the styles of Professor Longhair and Fats Domino, with a soupcon of Randy Newmanesque irony and self-deprecation. For over 30 years, Rogan has played and taught music and been involved in broadcast media, and has spent a lifetime listening to, befriending, learning from and performing with New Orleans greats such as Kermit Ruffins, John Boutte, Lionel Batiste, Kirk Joseph and Shannon Powell.
